A rose gold-plated beauty that forever blooms.

Rosa ‘Queen Elizabeth’ continues its reign as one of the world’s most popular roses, thanks to big showy blooms that instantly add pink-coloured sophistication to a summer garden. The fragrant grandiflora is named for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, whose effigy appears on nearly all our coins — including this stunning collectible that doubles as a giftable token of appreciation.

From bud to bloom, the reverse shows the rose in three different flowering stages. A selective application of rose gold plating enhances the engraving and stands in for the flower’s natural pink colour, which traditionally represents grace and admiration.

The result is a beautifully crafted keepsake and a deeply meaningful gift, for flower or gardening enthusiasts, or that special person whose nurturing soul allows others to flourish.

Back by popular demand: An equally stunning follow-up to the 2016 Queen Elizabeth Rose coin, which sold out very quickly.

Two precious metals: Rose gold plating adds a colour contrast that softens the look of the engraved petals and leaves, while the pure silver coin’s proof finish serves as a luminous backdrop.

A giftable token of love: This superbly crafted collectible also makes an ideal gift to mark any occasion — from birthdays to anniversaries, Mother’s Day or anytime you want to express your love and appreciation for a special person in your life.

CIT is very proud to introduce a coin honoring a very famous work of art! Fabergé Eggs are known as priceless treasures that were specifically made for Royalty and some of the wealthiest families in the world. 2020 marks the 100th Anniversary of the passing of Peter Carl Fabergé, a Russian jeweler that is best known for creating the famous Fabergé Eggs that were styled after the shape of Easter eggs.
One of his most famous works resides in the Liechtenstein Museum and is known as the Apple Blossom Egg. This Fabergé Egg was made for a very wealthy Russian industrialist named Alexander Kelch as a gift for his wife in 1901. It is one of the largest Fabergé Eggs ever made and one of the few that sits on its side instead of upright. The Egg is made out of stunning green jade, gold, silver, enamel, and precious diamonds.
CIT has utilized its world leading colorization techniques and combined them with its smartminting© high relief to produce a coin worthy of this cultural icon. This two ounce silver proof is also selectively gilded to capture the intricate Apple Trees that are made out of gold on the original Fabergé Egg. This proof is limited to only 888 pieces worldwide and will be presented in a custom presentation case that is in a shape of an egg.
While none of us will be able to own the original, you can own a piece of history by adding this to your collection!

With its bold red colour, a ruby easily stands out and instantly stirs the imagination. The traditional birthstone for July is a symbol of zeal and passion. It is traditionally believed to offer fortune and beauty. Flanked by three smaller Swarovski® crystals and surrounded by a Celtic art-inspired design, the colourful Swarovski® crystal at the centre is a token of good fortune—not just in your birthday month, but for the whole year. And with the help of a bezel kit (not included), your coin will easily become a cherished piece of jewellery that expresses who you are.

The reverse design by artist Pandora Young is an intersection of art and mathematics, and features a stylized pattern arranged according to the base-six system. Inspired by the Celtic triskele, the engraved art incorporates three clear Swarovski® crystals into our birthstone celebration of those born in May ( emerald), as represented by the gem-like Swarovski® crystal at the centre of the coin. The obverse features the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II by Susanna Blunt.

Did you know…
"Emerald" is from the Greek word smaragdus, meaning "green."
It is the traditional and modern gift for those celebrating a 55th wedding anniversary.

The coin is encapsulated and presented in a Royal Canadian Mint-branded clamshell with a black beauty box.
